Cancellation, Substitution and Refund Policy

For details on refund and cancellation policies, please refer to the information below.

This Cancellation, Substitution and Refund Policy applies to all programs, workshops, masterclasses, cohorts, certifications, events, memberships, learning journeys and other paid offerings conducted by Corporate Shiksha and/or School of HR, whether delivered online, offline, hybrid, live, recorded, cohort-based, self-paced, or through any other format.

By registering for, enrolling in, or making payment towards any program or offering, the participant, nominating organization, or purchaser agrees to the terms mentioned below.

1. Enrollment Confirmation

Enrollment in a program is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable program fee, registration fee, purchase order, written confirmation, or any other agreed mode of confirmation accepted by Corporate Shiksha or School of HR.

Once enrollment is confirmed, the seat is reserved for the participant or nominating organization. Since our programs involve limited seats, faculty commitments, learning resources, cohort planning, and administrative preparation, all confirmed enrollments are treated as final.

2. No Refund Policy

Fees once paid or enrollment once confirmed, are non-refundable.

Corporate Shiksha and School of HR do not offer refunds for confirmed enrollments, including but not limited to the following situations:

  • The participant is unable to attend the program.
  • The participant chooses to withdraw after enrollment.
  • The participant misses one or more sessions.
  • The participant does not complete the program.
  • The participant is unable to attend due to professional, personal, medical, travel, scheduling, organizational, or other reasons.
  • The participant or nominating organization changes its decision after enrollment.
  • The participant is dissatisfied due to reasons not attributable to the non-delivery of the program by Corporate Shiksha or the School of HR.
  • The participant does not use the learning material, recordings, mentoring sessions, coaching sessions, community access, or other benefits provided as part of the program.
  • The participant fails to meet attendance, participation, assessment, certification, or completion requirements.

No refund shall be applicable once a participant or organization has completed the enrollment process, whether the program has commenced or is yet to commence, except where specifically stated under this policy.

3. No Refund After Program Commencement

Once the program has commenced, no refund, cancellation, deferment, or adjustment shall be permitted under any circumstances.

Program commencement refers to the first scheduled session, orientation, onboarding session, access to learning material, access to platform/community, release of program resources, or any other formal start of the program, whichever occurs first.

Participants who discontinue, withdraw, remain absent, or are unable to continue after the program has commenced shall not be eligible for any refund, credit, transfer, or adjustment.

4. Nomination Substitution Before Program Commencement

We understand that organizations may need to change the nominated participant before the program begins.

A substitution of nomination may be permitted before the commencement of the program, subject to the following conditions:

  • The substitution request must be made in writing by the participant or nominating organization.
  • The request must be received before the program commencement date.
  • The substitute participant must meet the eligibility or suitability criteria for the program, wherever applicable.
  • Corporate Shiksha or School of HR reserves the right to approve or decline the substitution request.
  • Substitution is allowed only for the same program, same cohort, and same fee category.
  • Substitution does not create any right to refund, deferment, discount, or adjustment.

Once the program has commenced, substitution of nomination shall not be permitted, unless specifically approved in writing by Corporate Shiksha or the School of HR at its sole discretion.

5. Deferment or Batch Transfer

As a standard policy, confirmed enrollments are not eligible for deferment or transfer to a future batch.

However, in exceptional cases, Corporate Shiksha or School of HR may, at its sole discretion, allow a participant to be moved to a future cohort or alternate program schedule. Such approval shall be considered only on a case-by-case basis and must be confirmed in writing.

Any approved deferment or batch transfer may be subject to the availability of seats, revised program fee, administrative charges, change in program format, or other applicable conditions.

The decision of Corporate Shiksha or School of HR in such matters shall be final.

6. Program Cancellation by Corporate Shiksha or School of HR

In the unlikely event that Corporate Shiksha or School of HR cancels a program before commencement, participants or nominating organizations may be offered one of the following options:

  • Transfer of enrollment to a future cohort or alternate program of equivalent value.
  • Credit note for use against another Corporate Shiksha or School of HR program.
  • Refund of the amount received by Corporate Shiksha or School of HR for the cancelled program.

The applicable option shall be communicated in writing.

Corporate Shiksha or School of HR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or additional costs incurred by the participant or organization, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, leave, time, opportunity cost, or internal administrative cost.

7. Program Rescheduling

Corporate Shiksha and School of HR reserve the right to reschedule, postpone, modify, or change the dates, timing, venue, faculty, mode of delivery, structure, or format of any program due to business, operational, faculty, technical, health, safety, regulatory, or unavoidable reasons.

In case of rescheduling, the enrollment shall remain valid for the revised schedule. Such rescheduling shall not be treated as cancellation and shall not automatically entitle the participant or organization to a refund.

Where a participant is unable to attend the revised schedule, Corporate Shiksha or School of HR may, at its discretion, offer access to recordings, an alternate cohort, a substitute nomination option, or another suitable arrangement.

8. Duplicate or Excess Payment

In case of duplicate payment, excess payment, or payment made in error, the participant or organization must notify Corporate Shiksha or School of HR in writing along with proof of payment.

If the duplicate or excess payment is verified, the eligible amount may be refunded after deduction of applicable payment gateway charges, bank charges, taxes, or administrative costs, wherever applicable.

Refunds for verified duplicate or excess payments shall be processed to the original mode of payment or another mode approved by Corporate Shiksha or School of HR.

9. Taxes, Payment Gateway Charges and Administrative Costs

Any applicable taxes, including GST, shall be charged as per prevailing laws.

Where any refund is approved as an exception under this policy, applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, transaction charges, bank charges, administrative charges, or other statutory deductions may be deducted from the refundable amount, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Access to Program Material and Benefits

Access to program material, recordings, templates, frameworks, community groups, mentoring sessions, coaching sessions, assessments, certificates, or other benefits is provided as part of the specific program design.

Failure to access or use these benefits shall not be a valid ground for cancellation, refund, deferment, or adjustment.

Program access may also be subject to attendance, participation, payment status, code of conduct, and other program-specific terms.

11. Non-Transferability

Except for approved nomination substitution before program commencement, confirmed enrollments are non-transferable.

Participants may not sell, assign, transfer, share, or otherwise provide their program access, login credentials, learning material, recordings, certificates, or program benefits to any other person or organization without written approval from Corporate Shiksha or School of HR.

12. Code of Conduct and Removal from Program

Corporate Shiksha and School of HR reserve the right to remove a participant from a program, platform, community, or learning environment in case of misconduct, non-payment, misuse of resources, violation of intellectual property rights, disruptive behavior, harassment, breach of confidentiality, or violation of any applicable terms.

In such cases, no refund shall be provided.

13. Intellectual Property

All program content, frameworks, slides, recordings, worksheets, tools, templates, case material, and learning resources are the intellectual property of Corporate Shiksha, School of HR, their facilitators, partners, or licensors, as applicable.

Participants are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, record, publish, sell, share, circulate, or commercially use any program material without prior written permission.

Violation of this clause may result in removal from the program without refund and may attract further legal action.

14. How to Request Substitution or Raise a Query

All requests related to nomination substitution, duplicate payment, billing clarification, or exceptional cases must be sent in writing to the official contact email mentioned on the Corporate Shiksha or School of HR website.

The request should include:

  • Name of participant
  • Name of organization, if applicable
  • Program name
  • Cohort or program date
  • Payment or invoice details
  • Reason for request
  • Details of the substitute participant, where applicable

Requests will be reviewed by the Corporate Shiksha or School of HR team, and the decision will be communicated in writing.

15. Final Decision

All decisions regarding cancellations, substitutions, deferments, credits, adjustments, and refunds shall be at the sole discretion of Corporate Shiksha or School of HR, subject to applicable law.

Corporate Shiksha and School of HR reserve the right to amend, update, or modify this policy at any time. The policy applicable at the time of enrollment shall generally apply to the participant or organization, unless otherwise required by law.
