Dissatisfaction with performance evaluations is widespread. Managers conduct cursory reviews that are essentially up or down compensation announcements rather than development.Employees then perceive the "appraisal" as non-existent or unfair, and approach the next review accordingly. Busy managers with quarterly goals then try to avoid the unpleasantness by conducting even more cursory, drive-by reviews, and the downward spiral continues, promoting an underperformance culture.
In this session, we will look at how we can create a great Performance Experience and improve how the process is planned, carried out, and repeated. With the goal of continuous Insights and development, the experience can boost employee performance while also providing managers with a more effective framework for having these sometimes difficult, but necessary, conversations.
This is the most practical and relevant program that I have gone through in the last couple of years. I still keep referring to the learnings that I had assimilated during this workshop.
