MasterClass on Inclusive Leadership and Measuring DEI Success

About the MasterClass Session

Inclusive leadership is emerging as a distinct and critical capability that helps organisations adapt to a diverse range of customers, markets, ideas, and talent.Being more aware is essential for self-development, but awareness alone is insufficient. Without humility and empathy/perspective taking, leaders struggle to gain deep insights into the nature of their blind spots or corrective strategies and, as a result, grow.

In this session, we will discuss how we can enable leaders in becoming more inclusive and improving the performance of their teams. We will also discuss how organisations can track and measure the impact of their diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure that they are making tangible and long-term progress towards creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

To consider the value of, and business imperative for, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

To better appreciate why it is important for leaders to be conscious of. their own culture, and the culture of others, to create more inclusion.

To learn how to bias-proof and improve work systems and processes to ensure equal opportunity, and to effectively cultivate and evaluate.

About the Speaker

Renu Rohtagi
Director Human Resources and Communication
Air Liquide

Believing that “Change is inevitable and Innovation is the only way to success”. Be kind, compassionate, courageous, humble yet spearheaded and empowering, is a Modernized and Pilot leader in the gamut of Human Resources with an enriching journey of nearly two decades. My passion is to unleash the true potential of an individual, provide rich and diverse opportunities, set high standards for excellence and thrillingly witness the exhilaration when people accomplish things that they once believed were impossible.

Being able to witness a learning curve and transitioned to Director of Human Resources and Communication at Air Liquide India today, bring a deep sense of gratitude towards leaders, mentors at Air Liquide, Coca Cola India, HCL Technologies, Times of India and Jubilant Life Sciences where i could carve path for rising above as an Effective Leader and a Coach.

I endorses fostering a culture of acceptance and compassion and working for an impact as the most important trait of a leader and the acumen encompasses delivering sustained organizational growth in dynamic environments as well as building and preserving employee value thereby driving the vision of the organization achieving critical strategic goals. Being as a Strategy Architect catalyzing innovative policies, designing streamlining and implementing processes across Talent Acquisition and Talent management, Performance Management and Rewards, Employee Engagement, and has set up result-oriented Learning Academies across Sales, Service and Leadership Development.

With an experience across the global organisation, my current interest is in leveraging Agile for organization efficiency and implement digital tools to enhance employee experience thereby making the workforce ready for future skills.

Few of awards and recognition like Managerial Excellence Leadership Award and Outstanding Achievers Award in HCL Technologies, Best Global HR Team Award in Jubilant Drug Discovery & Development, and Golden Peacock Award” Winner for GPAE and GPACSR for Coca-Cola always give sense to achieve more

I believe in finesse in completing projects with excellence and tenacity of being there for people is visible in her deftness in handling large workforces, maintaining an amicable work environment and ensuring transparency throughout the organization. I am a dreamer and believe in two important elements - Live for now and Laugh at your mistakes.

“If acquiring future skills to become a full-stack HR professional is one of your goals, we’d like to help achieve it as we're on a mission help build the capability of professionals by learning from the leaders.”
